Pixels, Paints, and Goings On |
My painting, “Poppy Field” has been selected to participate in the juried exhibition at the Columbus Market Street Festival this May! The painting will be for sale, but prints will also be available in the Etsy store (soon!).
(Note to self: practice taking better photos of art pieces.)

Things I’m currently working on:
1. a commissioned water color for a relative
2. hoop paintings. These will be for sale in the Etsy store for a very affordable price!
Stay tuned, and happy 2012!
Fire Spark Studios is now on Facebook AND Etsy! I’ve been busy, haha

And here’s the Etsy store. There are currently original paintings, prints, jewelry, and some other pretties in stock. All are great as gifts for Christmas and the holidays!

And here’s a photo of my most recent painting. It’s currently hanging in The Rozenweig Gallery.

Fire-spark.net is back online! And I’m pleased to announce that it now green. It is powered by 100% wind energy. Isn’t that cool? In the mean time, here is a peek at what I’ve been working on. There is a very good chance that prints will be available online when it is complete! I’m considering making an entry into The 2nd Great American Attack of the Show Art Show. The deadline is August 19, and the theme is viral Internet videos. That makes the choice of subject hard, but right now I’m partial to Peanut-Butter Jelly Time.
Until next time!

Fire-Spark.net will be down for about a week for a domain transfer. If any hosted sites are lost in the commotion, I will transfer/move/redesign them for no charge, as this registrar transfer was unexpected. :)
Happy days!

After months of coming up with a design and then changing my mind about it, fire-spark.net finally has a new look. And an updated gallery! Hooray for productiveness! Next on the check list is to add some new prints and original paintings up for sale. I’m also going to put up a Facebook page eventually. But for now, enjoy the new look of Fire Spark Studios.
Spammers have recently gotten a strangle hold on fire-spark.net’s contact form. As much as I love having one (because it makes it more convenient for people to contact me) I had to remove it until I can find a suitable replacement. I’m also going to update the site with some new portfolio pieces.
I have two original paintings (acrylic on canvas) that are available for sale. I hope to open up an Etsy shopping site to use as a storefront for original pieces and prints. Prints of these particular pieces will be available on Redbubble once I can clean up a high-res photo of them. I want your prints to look as amazing as possible!

My workspace sadly isn’t all that glamorous. The kitchen table has to do for now. Hopefully one day I’ll have my own studio space. I can dream…
I’m a participating artist in the Mid-Century Expressions exhibit in Columbus, MS. I’m so excited - this is my first show since college!
The show runs from November through December, so if you’re nearby, please check it out (it’s freeeee~).
